Mechanic Installer $19-20 hr Shift: 1st

Job Description

As a Mechanic Installer, you will be responsible for installing custom service body work on pickup trucks. This includes the installation of both electrical and mechanical components. The role requires the use of hand and power tools for precise and quality mechanical installations.

Responsibilities

• Install service body custom work on pickup trucks.
• Perform electrical component installations, with wiring as an added advantage.
• Carry out mechanical component installations, focusing on in-place installations rather than assembly line work.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for mechanical installations.

Essential Skills

• 2-5 years of experience in mechanical installations and the use of power drills and tape measures.
• Proficiency in mechanical assembly and installations.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals for installation purposes.
• Capability to work under trucks for wiring and installations of both small and large parts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with 12v wiring, blueprints, welding, and hydraulics.
• Skills in troubleshooting, repair, sheet metal work, and duct work.

Work Environment

The position is based in an auto shop environment that is non-climate controlled, fast-paced, and can be hot and dirty. You will work alongside 35 employees per shift, with some outdoor work as required. Personal Protective Equipment such as protective glasses, knee pads, steel toe boots, hard hats, and gloves must be worn when necessary.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Red Oak, TX.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Red Oak,TX.
