District Shift Leader

Our stores close at 2pm, helping you balance personal commitments with your career. Position We are looking for our next General Manager. If you are ready to grow your career, consider becoming a District Shift Leader, participating in a targeted General Manager development plan, and progressing to a General Manager when a position becomes available. What’s a day in the life of a District Shift Leader? District Shift Leaders perform management duties at a home location and may support other bakeries in the market as needed. Traveling provides opportunities to gain independence and learn from other leaders. District Shift Leaders are expected to progress toward the General Manager role in the organization, especially in the absence of the GM. Shifts begin as early as 3am for the first bake and store opening duties. You will lead by example, be a brand ambassador, and provide ongoing coaching and training for the teams. You will perform various roles each shift to ensure high-quality food and beverages and maintain a safe, clean store environment. The GM development plan includes training in restaurant administration such as inventory tracking, vendor orders, and cash management. You will learn skills toward a GM role, including P&L analysis, achieving food cost and labor targets, scheduling, and recruiting quality team members.
