Knights Mechanical is seeking an experienced and motivated  Commercial HVAC Installer to join our growing team. We are looking for professionals who take pride in their craftsmanship, prioritize safety, and are committed to delivering exceptional service and quality installations. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, installing HVAC equipment and ductwork, and working collaboratively with other trades on commercial construction projects.

What You’ll Do:  

\n
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings 
\n
• Fabricate, assemble, and install commercial HVAC ductwork and sheet metal systems 
\n
• Measure, mark, and layout materials for installation using industry-standard tools 
\n
• Coordinate with other trades to ensure efficient installation of HVAC equipment and duct systems 
\n
• Install HVAC equipment including: 
\n
• Air Handlers 
\n
• VAV Boxes 
\n
• Rooftop Units (RTUs) 
\n
• Exhaust Fans 
\n
• Unit Heaters 
\n
• Related Mechanical Equipment 
\n
• Fasten and seal ductwork and sheet metal components using appropriate methods and materials 
\n
• Install furnace casings, flashings, and other HVAC-related sheet metal assemblies 
\n
• Use hand and power tools to cut, trim, grind, smooth, and finish metal surfaces 
\n
• Maintain a clean and safe jobsite 
\n
• Follow all company and OSHA safety standards 
\n
• Complete daily reports and communicate project progress as required 
\n

What You’ll Bring:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent 
\n
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings 
\n
• Strong mathematical and measurement skills 
\n
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools 
\n
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills 
\n
• Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed 
\n
• Basic computer skills for email communication, documentation, and project updates 
\n
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds 
\n
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and construction environments 
\n

Preferred Qualifications:  

\n
• 1–4 years of commercial HVAC or sheet metal installation experience 
\n
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification 
\n
• Knowledge of commercial building codes and construction practices 
\n
• State trade license (where applicable) 
\n
• Experience installing commercial ductwork and HVAC equipment 
\n

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds 
\n
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work at heights
