The individual owns project execution, customer relationships, timelines, budgets, risk management, and cross-functional team coordination to ensure successful project delivery aligned with business objectives.This position is field-based and requires residence within the Tampa, FL area.**Essential duties & responsibilities****Project Lifecycle and Logistics:*** Lead the team in the development of the project charter and management plan. Direct, manage, monitor, and control project. Evaluate tradeoffs within project. Communicate changes and adjustments to plan based on product, install or customer delays.* Lead forecasting, scheduling, and scoping for large volume projects* Directs project team to ensure engineering review documents and all project documents are uploaded to project plan.* Lead project through review process and organize task tracking for considerations outside of scope.* Sets accurate project timelines while eliminating return trips due to scope changes and scope creep* Leads install scoping activities among project teams* Lead PLM meetings and identify and outline scope as defined by sales, engineering and customer needs.* Responsible for assigning follow-up action to stakeholder groups and holding them accountable for completion.* Advise customers and business partners on best possible schedule that meets the needs of the customer and project team.* Estimate, acquire and assign project team resources. Define the role, responsibility, and deliverables for each team member. Provide direct feedback to functional manager on performance reviews.* Lead scheduling discussions and consider needs of all parties involved.* Directs project team to ensure engineering review documents and project documents are uploaded to the project plan.**Budget and Risk Management:*** Proactively anticipates risk and lead complex risk mitigated projects* Identifies risk and organize resources to support specialized risk mitigation* Develop a risk management plan for the project. Identify, analyze and understand project risks, develop and monitor a risk response plan.* Collaborate with supporting resources internally and externally to drive solutions in line with our quality standards.* Collaborate with supervisor and/or project PM to establish sub-project budget. Leads, monitors and maintains costs within budget.**Stakeholder Management:*** Independently able to manage and communicate material preparation timelines to customers and internal business partners.* Consult customers through site preparedness and equipment receipt process* Leads customer kick off meetings for small and large scale projects* Coordinates with customers, vendors and third party medical device companies* Meet with project stakeholders to understand and refine project scope; review with manager for approval. Create detailed Work Breakdown Structure.* Collaborate with sales partners to determine and manage customer expectations for production and resource allocation.* Create project presentations materials and develops informational trackers for internal and external business partners* Lead customers through project lifecycle and share value proposition in pre PO situations* Develop a Stakeholder management plan for the project, based on the identification, analysis and understanding of Stakeholder expectations.* Develop and execute the communications management plan for project team and the needs of key stakeholders**Knowledge and Capabilities*** Gains stakeholder trust, and maintains open communication channels with stakeholders, including development teams and sponsors* Stays calm and focused under pressure timelines and seeks to add additional responsibility where appropriate to have an impact outside of core role* Self-motivated: enjoys tackling goals, growing and developing, and is accountable for goals being met* Builds successful working relationships with internal and external personnel in various departments.* Mentor Associate Project Managers through planning process, provides guidance and encouragement for less tenured Project Managers.* Drives results in support of the business, even in the face of demanding timelines. Steps up to take on additional responsibility where appropriate* Adept at team management: selects the right people to the right tasks all while maintaining team morale and recognizing contributions.* Able to communicate effectively to all stakeholders and partners* Can influence without direct authority in a way that makes others want to be on their team.* Incorporates end-user feedback to refine scope through the project lifecycle and can communicate changes, updates and decisions to key stakeholders* Can understand and communicate how goals fit into broader organizational goals, and prioritize tasks/schedule accordingly.* Prioritizes tasks and activities based on impact on organizational objectives.* Incorporates customer feedback refining scope as needed throughout project/program plan.* Understand the importance of networking and utilizing that network and forging strong relationships with outside colleagues* Keeps customer involved in the solution creation process* Keeps the customer at the heart of what we do* Exercises good judgment and can weigh benefits and risk in order to make solid decisions despite ambiguity* Applies structured approach to problem solving* Exercises good judgement when it comes to risk taking and issue escalation* Makes decisions with all relevant information in mind* Encourages cooperative learning among peers and colleagues through performance feedback* Growth mindset – ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment.**Education & special trainings:** * High school diploma plus 6+ years of relevant work experience, or an Associate’s degree with 4 years or a Bachelor’s degree.* PMP or equivalent preferred**Qualifications & experience:*** 4+ years of relevant project management work experience**United States of America Pay Ranges:*** **USN**: $89,300 - $148,800 USD AnnualTravel Percentage: 60%Stryker Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
