How You’ll Make an Impact Provide critical crane support to the Rotor Assembly Shop, including training and acquiring a critical crane license. Glass bead blasting of service run components to prepare components for quality inspections. Using precision measuring equipment to confirm critical features of rotor components prior to assembly. Assist in stacking and tensioning of rotor spindles using tensioning equipment. Assist in blading of rotor spindles. Completion of blending repairs of service run components to prepare them for re-use. What You Bring High School Diploma or GED Required. 3‑5 years' experience as an industrial/aviation mechanic/millwright. Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain Fork Truck and Critical Lift (A) level crane licenses. Ability to manually lift up to 50 lbs for short durations, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work with either written, oral, or graphic instructions. Proven ability to use precision gages and set tooling to high accuracies, preferably on large diameters. Ability to obtain an ACT® WorkKeys® National Career Readiness Certificate (Silver Level or higher) as part of the pre‑hire assessment. Successful applicants must be able to pass standard hearing, vision, and pulmonary function tests or any other as required to perform the duties.
