Senior Associate, Journey Builder
We are seeking a Senior Associate, Journey Builder to play a hands-on role in designing, configuring, and optimizing personalized customer journeys using Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO). This role is responsible for translating strategic marketing objectives into real-time customer experiences that drive engagement, improve targeting, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Configure, test, deploy, and optimize personalized customer journeys and campaigns within Adobe Journey Optimizer
- Build and manage journey logic based on Next Best Action (NBA) strategies and business requirements
- Collaborate with data and analytics teams to create, refine, and validate audience segments within Adobe Experience Platform
- Leverage real-time behavioral signals and customer profile data to improve personalization and targeting
- Partner with lifecycle marketing, analytics, and channel teams to implement and enhance customer journeys
- Conduct comprehensive quality assurance across journey components, including events, triggers, wait steps, personalization rules, and cross-channel interactions
- Monitor campaign and journey performance, troubleshoot execution issues, and implement improvements
- Work with analytics teams to evaluate results and optimize journey effectiveness
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Adobe Journey Optimizer and Adobe Experience Platform
- Contribute to platform governance, process improvements, and best practices for journey orchestration
- Support team training and knowledge-sharing initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience within a marketing campaign delivery environment
- 3+ years of experience in marketing operations, lifecycle marketing, or digital campaign execution
- 2+ years of hands-on experience configuring journeys and campaigns using Adobe Journey Optimizer, Adobe Experience Platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar marketing automation platforms
- Strong understanding of customer journey orchestration, event-driven marketing, personalization, and decisioning frameworks
- Experience working with customer segmentation and audience targeting
- Strong quality assurance and testing experience for marketing campaigns and customer journeys
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in agile, cross-functional, or pod-based team environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and/or Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) certifications
- Experience with Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform (CDP)
- Familiarity with XDM schemas and event tagging frameworks
- Experience in highly regulated industries such as healthcare or financial services
- Exposure to JSON, event payloads, APIs, or API-driven personalization
- Experience with responsive email design and accessibility standards
- Understanding of Next Best Action (NBA) personalization and decisioning frameworks
