Registered Nurse (RN) Part Time-Days - Surgery Ambulatory

Job Overview Registered Nurse (RN) – Part Time (Days) – Surgery Ambulatory Location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231 Hours: Part Time – 24 hours/week; Variable days Monday–Saturday (5:30–14:00, open to 8/12 hr shifts) Responsibilities Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process Assesses the patient Plans the care of the patient Intervenes as appropriate Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions Incorporates age‑specific safety/infection control measures into patient care Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant other’s need for information Maintains continuity of patient care inter‑shift, inter‑hospital, and while expediting out‑of‑hospital transfers Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program or Diploma or Nurse Program BSN preferred 1 year of experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting required 1 year of peri‑operative experience preferred RN – Registered Nurse certification upon hire BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support required prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Benefits 401(k) PTO Medical, dental, vision Paid parental leave Flex spending account Tuition reimbursement Student loan repayment programs Other benefits Texas Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
