The mission of this role
As an Intake Specialist, hours of work would be either 9am - 5pm or 12pm - 8pm eastern standard time, you will be responsible for supporting and assisting veterans in navigating the world of VA Disabilities Claims. You will work directly with veterans to assess their needs, strategize the most beneficial route to take for their claim, and assist them in initiating the claim-building process. Your role will be crucial in ensuring our veterans receive the support and care they deserve.
What you'll own

• Conduct intake assessments with veterans to determine their needs and goals
• Develop personalized strategy plans for each veteran based on their unique circumstances
• Provide advocacy and support to veterans in accessing necessary documents for their claim
• Assist veterans in completing necessary paperwork and applications for benefits
• Collaborate with other organizations and agencies to ensure veterans receive

comprehensive support

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of services provided to veterans

Requirements

• Prior experience working with Veterans or familiarity with Veterans preferred.
• Previous sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Veteran benefits and resources preferred.

• Strong analytical skills using metrics to make sound decisions.
• Process improvement mindset. Strong Communication skills (both written and verbal)
