Operations ManagerWork Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.Position Overview: Reporting to the Director, Plant Manager, The Operations Manager is responsible for leading manufacturing operations within a fast-paced production environment, ensuring achievement of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity (SQDCP) objectives. This leader develops supervisors, drives continuous improvement initiatives, improves operational performance, and partners across the business to support customer commitments and profitable growth. The ideal candidate will be a visible shop-floor leader with strong Lean Manufacturing and people leadership experience.Key Responsibilities:Operational Leadership & Execution:Lead daily operations to deliver on key performance metrics including safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivityTranslate business objectives into actionable operational plans and ensure disciplined executionMonitor production or service outputs, identify gaps, and implement corrective actionsContinuous Improvement:Drive a culture of continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologiesIdentify process inefficiencies and lead initiatives to improve throughput, reduce waste, and optimize cost structureEstablish standard work and ensure adherence to best practicesTeam Leadership & Talent Development:Lead, coach, and develop frontline supervisors and operational teamsBuild a high-performance culture focused on accountability, engagement, and developmentSupport workforce planning, succession planning, and talent capability buildingSafety & Compliance:Champion a strong safety culture; ensure compliance with all regulatory and company safety standardsLead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and prevention strategiesEnsure adherence to quality systems, policies, and regulatory requirementsPerformance Management & Analytics:Establish and track KPIs; leverage data to drive decision-making and performance improvementsPrepare and present operational performance updates to senior leadershipUse metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunitiesCross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, HR, Finance, and Commercial teams to optimize end-to-end operationsSupport new product introductions, process changes, and capital projectsAlign operational priorities with customer requirements and business needsFinancial & Resource Management:Manage operational budgets, cost controls, and resource allocationDrive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and service levelsOptimize labor, materials, and equipment utilizationQualifications:Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or related field7–10+ years of progressive operations experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments3+ years of leadership experience managing teams and supervisorsTechnical & Functional Skills:Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or operational excellence frameworksExperience with ERP systems and operational data analysisKnowledge of safety, quality, and regulatory requirementsLeadership Competencies:Proven ability to lead through others and drive operational accountabilityStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsEffective communicator with the ability to influence at all levelsResults-oriented with strong execution disciplinePreferred Qualifications:Master's degree (MBA or related field)Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt)Experience in multi-site or complex operational environmentsWorking Conditions:Fast-paced operational environment with regular presence on the floor/siteMay include extended hours, shift support, or travel depending on business needsBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug CoverageSpending accounts (HSA, Health Care FSA and Dependent Care FSA)Paid Time Off and Holidays401k Retirement Plan with Matching Employer ContributionsLife and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) InsurancePaid LeavesTuition AssistanceAbout Regal RexnordRegal Rexnord is a publicly held global industrial manufacturer with 30,000 associates around the world who help create a better tomorrow by providing sustainable solutions that power, transmit and control motion.
