Konik is partnering with a growing commercial general contractor seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to oversee construction operations from project start through completion. This company delivers a variety of commercial projects throughout the Twin Cities, including custom restaurants, fitness facilities, retail spaces, offices, educational facilities, renovations, and ground-up construction.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on construction leader who enjoys being actively involved in the field, building strong relationships, solving problems, and taking ownership of project outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial construction experience and a team-oriented mindset focused on quality, accountability, and getting the job done right.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to maintain project progress and efficiency.
• Manage jobsite activities, schedules, inspections, quality standards, and overall project execution.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, including 3-week look-ahead schedules and daily coordination efforts.
• Coordinate with project teams, clients, inspectors, and subcontractors to resolve field issues and keep projects moving forward.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs and field reports.
• Monitor field-related project costs, assist with material planning, and coordinate material ordering as needed.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and support project planning activities.
• Oversee company personnel and provide guidance, training, and support as needed.
• Perform occasional hands-on field work and minor carpentry tasks to support project needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent.
• Strong background overseeing commercial construction projects, including renovations and/or ground-up construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, managing schedules, and maintaining quality standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with construction technology and project management software; Procore experience preferred.
• Self-motivated professional with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Compensation:
$95,000-$130,000 per year
