Probate & Estate Planning Paralegal

Solo practice attorney is seeking a highly organized, self-directed paralegal who thrives with autonomy and takes ownership of matters from intake through completion. This role is ideal for someone with at least 5 years of relevant experience who can manage deadlines, draft documents accurately, and keep files moving with minimal supervision. Proficiency with TXDocs is preferred. This is a primarily in-office position near downtown Fort Worth.

Responsibilities

· Draft probate and estate planning documents, correspondence, and client communications.

· Assist with probate filings, court deadlines, hearing coordination, and document organization.

· Support the preparation of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, deeds, and related estate planning materials.

· Maintain case files, track timelines, and help ensure matters progress efficiently and accurately.

· Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and third parties.

· Work independently, identify next steps proactively, and help keep attorneys focused on high-value legal work.

Qualifications

· At least 5 years of paralegal experience in probate, estate planning, or closely related practice areas such as bankruptcy or family law.

· Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple matters independently.

· Clear written and verbal communication skills.

· TXDocs proficiency preferred.
