Escrow Support Processor

First American's Direct division provides comprehensive title insurance protection and settlement services for real estate purchases, refinances and equity loans. This role is part of a centralized clerical processing team that handles all documents connected with escrow openings, closings and administration. Responsibilities Prepare and set up escrow files (openings and closings). Draft correspondence, escrow files and order preliminary title reports. Perform fund disbursements and prepare closing statements and closing letters. Schedule and instruct couriers; order payoffs, liens, homeowner association documents and evidence of insurance. Distribute preliminary reports and communicate with escrow branches as needed. Follow functional area processes and procedures; troubleshoot as required. Contribute to team goals, collaborate with coworkers, and perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1–2 years of escrow processing experience. Ability to follow escrow procedures and understand regulations governing escrow processes. Knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of the department/field. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to establish effective working relationships at the work‑group level. Pay and Hours Hourly: $17.24 – $22.98 or $18.46 – $24.63 depending on location and experience. Pay is based on job‑related knowledge and business requirements.
