Schedule: Monday-Friday | Full-time | On-site Position Summary We are seeking a hands-on Career Services Director to lead all career services operations for our Atlanta campus. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, connecting graduates with employment opportunities, and developing strong partnerships within the healthcare community. This is currently a standalone department, requiring a self-directed professional who enjoys working directly with students and graduates while actively networking with healthcare employers to create placement opportunities. Key Responsibilities
Lead all Career Services functions for the campus.
Build strong relationships with students, graduates, and alumni.
Develop and maintain partnerships with healthcare employers and community organizations.
Create new employer relationships and hiring pipelines.
Connect graduates with career opportunities aligned with their education and training.
Conduct career readiness workshops, coaching sessions, and employment-focused meetings.
Promote graduates to prospective healthcare employers.
Track employment outcomes and placement metrics.
Follow up with graduates regarding career progression and employment status.
Represent the institution at community events, networking opportunities, and graduation ceremonies.
Success Metrics The primary objective of this position is graduate placement and employment outcomes. Success in this role includes: Developing a strong network of healthcare hiring partners.
Creating consistent employment opportunities for graduates.
Building trust and engagement with students throughout their educational journey.
Maintaining strong placement results and employment tracking processes.
Supporting approximately 5 to 30 students and graduates on a typical day.
Ideal Candidate We are interested in professionals who are: Relationship-driven and highly personable.
Comfortable networking and building new partnerships.
Professional, polished, and confident in community-facing situations.
Passionate about helping students achieve career success.
Self-motivated and capable of operating independently.
Comfortable balancing both employer relations and student engagement responsibilities.
Preferred Background Candidates may come from backgrounds such as: Career Services within higher education.
Healthcare workforce development.
Employer relations and community partnerships.
Healthcare recruiting or staffing.
Student services, career coaching, or workforce placement. Healthcare industry experience is strongly preferred, particularly experience supporting the placement of healthcare graduates or healthcare professionals. What Success Looks Like First 90 Days Establish credibility and strong relationships with students, graduates, and employer partners.
Learn campus programs, placement processes, and existing community partnerships.
Increase visibility and engagement with students. Within 6 Months Develop an active employer network and pipeline of healthcare hiring partners.
Create additional placement opportunities for graduates.
Strengthen employer engagement throughout the local healthcare community. Long-Term Consistently connect graduates with employment opportunities in their field.
Maintain strong placement outcomes and employer partnerships.
