We are thrilled to invite a Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join our expanding team at our Level III Trauma Center. We seek a surgeon with robust training in orthopedic traumatology or adult reconstruction/total joints who excels in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. You will handle complex cases, benefit from extensive system-wide support, and enjoy the autonomy and resources necessary for your success.

Position Highlights

• Level III Trauma Center
• Inpatient role with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
• Shared evening and weekend call (1:8)
• Postoperative clinic support provided
• Dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support
• Specific trauma operating room block time
• Robust system infrastructure with highly collaborative multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Fellowship training in Orthopedic Traumatology or Adult Reconstruction/Total Joint Arthroplasty
• ABOS Board Certified or Board Eligible status required
• Eligibility to obtain medical licenses in Iowa and Illinois
• Strong clinical and surgical skills with a commitment to quality and evidence-based practices
• Excellent communication abilities and a team-oriented mindset
• Open to both graduating fellows and seasoned orthopedic surgeons

Compensation & Benefits

• Two-year guaranteed salary of $739,410, with production starting at 10,650 wRVUs
• Transition to a straight production model beginning in year three
• Earning potential exceeding $1 million
