Project Manager

We are seeking a motivated Project Manager to oversee the design and construction of turnkey Warehouse Automation Systems (WAS) projects across the United States. This role will manage all aspects of project delivery—from planning and scheduling through execution and closeout—while ensuring alignment with company objectives, performance targets, and customer expectations. Reporting to a Senior Project Manager, this position is ideal for an individual with hands‑on experience in project planning and control who is looking to grow within a dynamic, fast‑paced industrial automation and engineering environment. Key Responsibilities Fulfill all contractual obligations and ensure adherence to project constraints. Operate in accordance with company policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to align technical, commercial, and operational objectives. Achieve defined financial and performance targets, including Economic Value Added (EVA). Maintain accurate and up-to-date project data in company information systems. Monitor and control project progress, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within budget. Identify, assess, and manage project risks, reporting updates to the company's Risk Management Authority. Manage project scope changes in accordance with contractual and internal processes. Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 (mandatory) and other planning tools. Manage and evaluate subcontractors and system integrators to ensure compliance with cost, quality, and schedule requirements. Promote and maintain a safe working environment, including safety analyses, rigging and lifting plans, environmental risk assessments, and regular site audits. Oversee the QA/QC process to ensure project deliverables meet required technical and operational standards. Create, prioritize, and manage the project action item list. Maintain accurate as-built documentation, system drawings, and punch lists. Prepare and distribute detailed periodic project progress reports. Mandatory Requirements Minimum 4 years of experience in Warehouse Automation Systems, material handling systems, intralogistics, or construction project management within industrial or distribution environments. Proven experience in planning, scheduling, and controlling complex projects using Primavera P6 (mandatory). Strong understanding of project planning principles, including critical path method (CPM), resource allocation, earned value analysis, and schedule risk management. Experience with budget management, cost control, and financial performance tracking. Solid knowledge of engineering, procurement, manufacturing, installation, integration, and commissioning processes for automated systems. Demonstrated experience in risk management, quality control, and contract administration. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline. PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification. Experience with automated warehouse technologies such as conveyors, sortation systems, AS/RS, robotics, WMS/WCS integration, or material handling equipment. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple contractors and vendors.
