Sales Manager

Key Information: Work Model: On-site Leadership / Field-based Compensation: Approximately $150,000 base salary, with GP-based incentives tied to team performance. Expected total earning potential of $150,000 to $250,000+ annually Experience: 5-10 years Key Responsibilities Work directly with ownership to understand the business, customers, sales strategy, and growth objectives Lead, coach, and develop junior sales representatives Support accountability, sales activity, pipeline management, and execution Monitor gross profit performance and maintain disciplined margin management Review pricing, deal structures, and profitability Drive territory growth, customer retention, and new business development Build strong working relationships with senior and junior sales representatives Support hiring, onboarding, training, and development of sales talent Analyze sales performance, pipeline activity, trends, and territory results Identify opportunities for market expansion and revenue growth Work closely with operations, purchasing, and leadership teams Contribute to strategic sales planning Requirements 5 to 10 years of experience in chemical distribution sales Previous sales leadership, team management, coaching, or mentoring experience Strong understanding of gross profit, margins, pricing, and profitability Proven track record of building customer relationships and closing business Strong analytical and numerical skills Strong commercial judgment and business development skills Established relationships within industrial, chemical, manufacturing, or distribution markets preferred Based in California or willing to relocate to California #J-18808-Ljbffr Wise Insight
