Hours: M-F 8-5, OT possible

Pay Rate: $60/hr.

MAIN FUNCTIONS

• This position will support the Project Engineering team . If initiative and strong performance is displayed, the worker may have the opportunity to lead their own projects.
• Responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing and finalizing projects according to the specifications and deadlines, all while keeping the project within budget.
• Creates and reports project status and allocates resources as needed.
• Defines project governance policies and manages the financial concerns. Communicates and interfaces with all levels and across organizational lines, including the business units.
• May partner with external vendors based on the nature of the project.
• Works with moderate work direction and is skilled and knowledgeable to the position.
• Project managers at the Senior Level are normally managing medium-sized projects with moderate potential risk.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors Degree preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills. MS Project or other project management tools. Consensus building skills.
• Behavioral Skills: creates ownership, drives functional excellence, promotes productive impact, effectively manages external relationships
• Supporting small capital projects 20M and below.
• All aspects of project management apply, as well as project metrics.

Experience:

• 3-5 years relevant; displayed initiative and capacity will be a priority

Education:

• Associates at minimum. Bachelors preferred (PM, Construction Management, or Business)

Preferred Skills:

• Someone that wants to work with goal of achieving common mission and driving performance
• Technology: Microsoft Suite; Preferred experience in Microsoft Projects, Smartsheets or P66 (Preferred)
• Electrical engineering knowledge (Preferred)
