Opportunity:
Physician – Pediatric Hospitalist

Job Details:

• Provide comprehensive pediatric hospitalist services with 5-10 patient encounters per shift
• Perform newborn and pediatric intubation (ETT/NT) as a required core competency
• Place and manage central lines and umbilical venous catheters (UVC)
• Perform needle pneumothorax decompression as required
• EKG interpretation required as part of standard patient care responsibilities
• Preferred skills include ventilation management for both newborn and pediatric patients (acute and chronic)
• Preferred procedural skills include arterial lines, UAC placement, lumbar puncture, chest tube insertion, and X-ray interpretation
• Board certification required; ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of approximately 120 days
• Permanent, ongoing position starting as soon as possible
• No specific state license requirement to apply
