Located in Springfield, OH Pay: $18.00 an hour Job Full Description Production Welder (MIG/Arc) - 1st Shift $18.00/Hour | Monday-Friday | 7:15 AM to 4:00 PM Are you an experienced MIG/Arc Welder looking for a steady first-shift opportunity? We are seeking a skilled Production Welder to join a local manufacturing team. This is a temporary assignment expected to last several months while a valued employee is on medical leave. If you have welding experience, strong mechanical skills, and enjoy working in a manufacturing environment, we'd like to hear from you! Job Responsibilities- Perform MIG and Arc welding on production components and assemblies
- Cut, prepare, and fit metal parts for welding
- Fabricate and assemble welding sub-assemblies according to specifications
- Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Inspect completed welds to ensure quality standards are met
- Operate welding and metal-cutting equipment safely
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Previous MIG and Arc welding experience required
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read measuring devices and basic blueprints
- Experience with metal fabrication and parts preparation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
- Pay: $18.00 per hour
- Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:15 AM to 4:00 PM
- Type: Temporary assignment (several months)
