Territory Sales Representative

MCE Distributors LLC is the authorized SwiftWall® dealer for South Florida. We supply, rent and install modular temporary wall systems — the walls that go up in hospitals, airports, schools, stadiums and retail spaces wherever you need to create, divide or transform space. We also supply and install Ubicuity interactive projection systems for experiential and event work. Since launching in 2024 we have closed more than 120 projects across 11 industries, for customers including Miami International Airport, the Miami Marlins, PortMiami, the VA Medical Center, the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix and the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission. We are based in Doral and serve Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach, with expansion into. We are small, we are growing fast, and we are building our sales team now.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be MCE's first Territory Sales Representative, and this is a hunting role. There is no inbound queue waiting for you. You will build the South Florida territory yourself: General Contractor offices, active job sites, bid boards and industry events, with a focus on larger commercial, institutional, aviation, healthcare and education projects. Half the job is in the field; the other half is follow-through. Construction deals are rarely won in the first meeting. They are won on the fourth email and the second call back, weeks after the walkthrough. Every proposal you send is yours until it is signed or dead. You will work directly with the founders, and what you learn in the field will shape how MCE builds its sales program as the team grows. The honest version: most days you are in your car, in a customer's office, or in a GC's trailer. You will hear no more often than yes, and the sales cycle is measured in weeks, not hours. If you love the hunt but lose interest once the proposal is sent, this role will not work for you — and neither of us wants to find that out in month two. If you need a warm lead list handed to you, this is not your role. What you will do: Prospect and self-source new business across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Build lasting relationships with General Contractors, project managers and facility teams Run discovery calls and on-site walkthroughs, and scope jobs accurately Work with our team on pricing and proposals, and own every deal to signature Follow up relentlessly until each proposal is won or lost Keep your pipeline accurate and current in our CRM Report on pipeline and activity weekly Bring back what you learn to help us build a sales program that scales Your first 90 days: Days 1–30: SwiftWall product certification and a live spec test before you talk to a customer. Shadow installs and walkthroughs. Days 31–45: In the field. Measured on meetings booked and site walkthroughs completed, not on revenue.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required: 2+ years in B2B sales — ideally construction, building products, industrial orequipment rental A track record of finding and closing business nobody handed to you Disciplined follow-through: the fifth email still gets sent The ability to connect a product's value to a customer's real problem Comfort on an active job site and in front of a General Contractor A valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation The ability to pass a background check (required for airport and hospital job sites) Legal authorization to work in the United States Preferred: Bilingual English / Spanish (strongly preferred) Existing relationships with South Florida General Contractors Experience closing larger commercial deals ($25K+) Experience selling into healthcare, aviation, education or events The ability to read blueprints and construction drawings MCE Distributors LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
