Tfs Build And Release Engineer
Our client is seeking a TFS Build and Release Engineer for a 24-month contract position. This position is onsite in Charlotte, NC. The manager is also open to the position being onsite at the following locations – Chandler, AZ, Minneapolis, MN, Des Moines, IA, Philadelphia, PA, or St. Louis, MS. Summary: DevOps Engineering Operations is looking for a TFS Build and Release Engineer to assist with onboarding and support for.Net applications to the Continuous Integration and Delivery pipeline utilizing TFS Release Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Acts as a lead in providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools, and existing designs.
- Analyzes highly complex business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign complex computer platforms and applications.
- Provides coding direction to less experienced staff or develops highly complex original code.
- Acts as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts.
- Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs.
- Oversees overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production.
- Develops new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides.
- Leads projects, allocates and manages resources and manages the work of less experienced staff.
- Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees the creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan.
Required Experience:
- 8+ years of application development and implementation experience
- 3+ years of experience with Continuous Integration with TFS Build (MUST HAVE version 2015 and/or 2017, with version 2018 highly preferred).
- 3+ years of experience with Continuous Delivery with TFS Release Manager (MUST HAVE version 2015 and/or 2017, with version 2018 highly preferred).
- Experience with TFS SCM including TFS-GIT
- Prior Experience in Anthill Pro would be a plus
- Experience partnering with key teams to ensure success (Architecture, PMO, Application Development teams)
- Proven ability to effectively collaborate with others, initiate action, adapt to change, make difficult decisions, and accept challenging assignments and with the potential for constantly changing priorities and requirements.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, virtual environment with resources spread across the country with different time zones and work location including the potential for overseas, offshore resources.
- Experience with continuously improve processes and services in a very dynamic and fast paced environment.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
