Lead Electrician

Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman / Lead Electrician with at least 10 years of commercial and industrial electrical experience to lead field crews on construction, maintenance, and installation projects. This individual will be responsible for supervising electricians, coordinating daily jobsite operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering high-quality electrical work on schedule and within budget. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Crew Management Lead, supervise, and mentor electrical crews on commercial and industrial projects. Assign daily work activities and ensure productivity goals are met. Monitor workmanship and ensure adherence to company standards and project specifications. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and professionalism on the jobsite. Coordinate manpower requirements and communicate staffing needs to management. Electrical Installation & Field Operations Install, troubleshoot, and oversee the installation of electrical systems, conduit, wiring, fixtures, panels, and equipment. Perform advanced electrical work related to new construction, renovations, maintenance, and repairs. Interpret and execute work based on blueprints, electrical drawings, and project specifications. Ensure all installations comply with applicable electrical codes and regulations. Project Coordination Communicate regularly with Project Managers regarding project progress, schedules, material needs, and potential issues. Coordinate work activities with general contractors, subcontractors, customers, and other trades. Identify and communicate deviations from plans or specifications before work is performed. Materials & Documentation Prepare and submit material requests with appropriate lead times. Track labor hours and approve crew timesheets. Maintain accurate records related to project activities and workforce utilization. Assist management in meeting labor and material budget objectives. Safety & Compliance Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Conduct jobsite safety inspections and participate in hazard assessments. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Report safety concerns, incidents, or potential hazards immediately. Company Representation Represent the company professionally with customers, contractors, vendors, and team members. Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools in proper working condition. Support company goals through quality workmanship and effective leadership. Qualifications Minimum 10 years of commercial and/or industrial electrical experience. Previous experience as an Electrical Foreman, Lead Electrician, Crew Lead, or similar leadership role.
