About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Engineering Officer to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of its water infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership in engineering, capital delivery, infrastructure planning, construction, property services, surveying, GIS, and long-range capital investment strategy. This executive position demands a professional with a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, an active Professional Engineer (PE) license, and a minimum of 12 years of progressive leadership experience, particularly in guiding complex infrastructure, utilities, public works, or capital delivery organizations. Key leadership competencies for this role include strategic vision, executive presence, capital program governance, fiscal stewardship, change leadership, talent development, and stakeholder engagement. The Chief Engineering Officer will be a critical member of the Executive Leadership Team, directly reporting to the CEO/Manager, and will be instrumental in driving the company's mission to address climate change, population growth, water supply challenges, and evolving regulatory requirements. The role is at the forefront of the company's commitment to innovation, sustainability, and engineering excellence, with a focus on world-class capital project construction standards and a proactive approach to infrastructure maintenance and replacement.
