JOB SUMMARY: The Production Associate – Hard Goods contributes to ThriftSmart’s Quality Management and Value Management teams in order to categorize, price, and stock donated goods. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Production Associates will perform some combination of the following duties and responsibilities Sort incoming donations into proper categories. Ensure quality control of all items - keeping the best and recycling the rest. Price and ticket merchandise using pricing guidelines. Stock merchandise on sales floor as needed. Assist customers with loading furniture purchases. Maintain clean and organized work areas. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. Meet production standards for quality and quantity Assist other production areas as assigned COMPETENCIES Customer service Problem solving Organization Oral communication Speed and accuracy EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School diploma or equivalent preferred. 1 year of experience in retail or warehouse environment preferred.
