Senior Tax Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join our growing team. You will prepare and review a wide variety of returns, work directly with clients, assist partners on complex planning engagements, and grow your career in a firm that genuinely invests in its people. Why join us What We Offer: Competitive base pay and overall compensation package Full benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Generous PTO, vacation, sick, and holidays Life Insurance coverage 401K Job Details What You Will Do: Prepare and review individual, corporate, S corporation, partnership, trust, nonprofit, and estate tax returns Assist with tax projections, planning, and strategic tax-saving opportunities for clients Respond to IRS, FTB, EDD, and CDTFA notices and correspondence Communicate directly with clients on tax matters, planning opportunities, and information requests Collaborate with firm partners on complex tax planning and consulting engagements Review financial statements, general ledgers, and accounting records for tax reporting accuracy Research federal and multi-state tax issues as needed What You Bring: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field Minimum 3 years of tax accounting and tax preparation experience in a CPA firm environment Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state tax laws Proficiency in CCH Axcess, QuickBooks Desktop and Online, and Microsoft Office 365 Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-facing mindset CPA license is a plus Sometimes Jobot is required to perform background checks with your authorization.
