Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Description

Job Summary:

Registered Nurse will provide clinical support in the NICU/LDRP setting by following established procedures and supporting pediatric and neonatal care teams. Deliver safe, accurate treatment under the supervision of the Charge Nurse while integrating education, technical competency, and patient-interaction skills.

Responsibilities:

• Support Pediatricians and Neonatologists by assisting with care execution and procedure workflow in the NICU/LDRP environment
• Provide direct patient care to neonates and collaborate with Registered Nurses to implement treatment plans
• Perform required nursing assessments, monitor patient status, and report changes promptly to the Charge Nurse
• Execute technical nursing tasks accurately and safely using established NICU protocols
• Apply education and competency skills to support evidence-based care during NICU procedures
• Maintain professional patient interaction and family communication within clinical guidelines

Qualifications:

• Hold an active CA RN License
• Maintain AHA BLS certification
• Hold a current NRP credential
• Bring at least 2 years of NICU experience (preferred)
• Demonstrate strong technical competence in NICU workflows and neonatal patient care
• Provide recent licensing verification through Nursys and submit applicable certifications with valid expiration dates
