About The Role Client Specialists are the first line of contact at all Barry’s studios. They are well‑versed in all aspects of the business, comply with company policies and procedures, and are key to developing lasting client relationships through superior hospitality. They assist clients with class selections, bookings, and questions; maintain a clean studio; manage FuelBar orders; and process merchandise purchases. Client Specialists are excellent communicators, positive brand ambassadors, and integral to building a stronger Barry’s community. What You’ll Do Front Desk Responsibilities Client Experience: Understanding hospitality principles and processes, and executing them as part of the Barry’s client experience. Support the client experience with hospitality and studio amenities to build personalized experiences that positively impact sales and service. Be an effective brand ambassador, ensuring clients are warmly welcomed, assisted accordingly, and have a memorable experience. Establish and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with clients and staff, and maintain them over time. Communicate with supervisors and peers by telephone, email, text, or in person in a timely and efficient manner. Deliver first‑class client experience at all times. Maintain a clean and welcoming atmosphere, assisting in studio cleaning, restocking, and upkeep as needed. Guide clients with the latest studio promotions, membership discounts, and/or special events. Maintain product knowledge for all studio retail operations. Participate in all relevant training and development programs and meetings as directed by Operations leaders. Have flexibility with schedule, including weekends, holidays, morning or night shifts, and meet minimum availability requirements. Fuel Bar Responsibilities Deliver quality protein smoothies and customer service at the Fuel Bar. Handle pre‑orders and orders on the spot, custom to each client’s needs. Assist clients with questions and product selection. Complete clients’ orders in a timely manner using a POS transaction. Maintain Fuel Bar department areas clean and sanitized. Follow departmental procedures for safety, proper food handling, and sanitation according to local, state, and federal health code regulations. Properly rotate merchandise in refrigerated coolers and department tables, paying special attention to spoiling goods according to company policy. Prepare various fuel bar goods following company recipes. Facility Maintenance Prepare studio spaces before, after, and in‑between classes by cleaning exercise equipment, sweeping, mopping and/or vacuuming floors, and wiping mirrors. Support in cleaning and maintaining locker rooms to brand standard as directed. Conduct regular deep cleaning, organization, and service of common areas (lobby, FuelBar, retail shelves, locker rooms, hallways, storage areas). Conduct small studio repairs when appropriate. Perform laundry services (collecting, washing, folding towels). Adhere to daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance checklists. Customer Service Ensure all existing and new clients receive the highest level of hospitality. Maintain client database and utilize information to increase client contact. Attend social functions within the community to generate new business and invite current/prospective clients to in‑studio events, and outreach through curated clienteling tools. Qualifications Strong hospitality skills and alignment with Barry’s mission, vision, and values. Ability to work either full‑time or part‑time schedule. Full‑time: Minimum 30 hours per week, with availability mornings, afternoons, evenings, and at least one weekend day (Saturday/Sunday) during studio operating hours. Part‑time: Minimum 24 hours per week, with minimum 3‑4 hours per available shift, and availability mornings, afternoons, evenings, and at least one weekend day during studio operating hours. Friendly, outgoing personality and enjoys social interaction. Exhibits enthusiasm for the studio and for the job. Patient, courteous listener, able to show empathy. Responds to client requests with a can‑do attitude. Cooperative manner with a focus on team culture. Ability to prioritize and work within a fast‑paced environment. Exceptional cleaning skills and clear understanding of sanitary environment. Eye for detail and care for studio appearance and cleanliness. Works as a cohesive team with all staff members to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Maintains a professional appearance and behavior. Demonstrates excellent communication skills.
