Chef/ Manager Needed for School Food Service
Maschio's Food Service
School Food Service Management Company is seeking a Chef/ Manager in the Allentown, Pa area. Full time position, day shift, 8 hours daily. Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays. There may be occasional nights for school board catering events.
K-12 school food service experience is a plus. Must be familiar with high volume catering. Must be able to obtain the proper documentation to work in schools. Must have proven cooking experience.
- Overseeing the function of the kitchen area.
- Creating menu ideas, while adhering to all NSLP guidelines.
- Preparing for Catering events.
- Be sure all safety and cleanliness guidelines are being practiced at all times.
- See the personal protection equipment is being used at all times.
- Food ordering and inventory.
- Must be proficient in various computer software.(Google Docs, Microsoft, etc.)
- Staffing needs.
