Were all about keeping our team and operations safe while staying compliant with all regulations. As a Safety Clerk, youll be at the heart of our driver safety program, ensuring that SOPs are followed, compliance records are spot-on, and helping with training efforts. This role is essential in building a culture of safety and excellence on the ramp. Main Accountabilities Responsible for SOP training for all new drivers and re-training of drivers Responsible for updating and maintaining all driver files Processing of all Port Authority/Customs identifications Ensure all State inspections, registrations and Insurance IDs for trucks are current Responsible for ensuring all drivers adhere to A-1 Inspection procedures Assist the Safety Supervisor as needed and perform other clerical duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent Must possess a valid drivers license and be able to obtain Airport SIDA badge and CBP Customs Seal within 30 days of hire 3-5 years of safety experience preferred; AOA ramp experience may be substituted year for year for Safety experience Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook and other computer applications Ability to work with minimum supervision Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills Detail oriented Ability to work in a fast paced environment with large groups must be flexible Open availability, ability to work nights and weekends as operations require SkyChefs is an EEO and Affirmative Action Employer of Women/Minorities/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.bfb3568a-762b-4989-884b-a9682aa104ca
