Accounts Payable Manager Orange County, CA Contract To Hire Accounting $40/HR to $50/HR 07/09/2026 Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $40.00 to $50.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities Oversee accounts payable operations and ensure invoices are processed accurately and within established timelines. Review transactions and supporting documentation to maintain compliance with internal procedures and controls. Coordinate payment activities including invoice matching exception resolution and transaction verification. Collaborate with accounting teams to support reconciliations reporting and period end activities. Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation system enhancements and workflow optimization. Requirements 2+ years of leadership experience within accounts payable functions. Demonstrate strong knowledge of invoice processing matching procedures and payment workflows. Possess experience working with enterprise accounting systems in a high volume environment. Use Excel effectively to analyze data, prepare reports and support daily operations. Manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy in a fast paced business setting. Qualifications Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors and stakeholders to resolve issues promptly. Apply strong organizational skills and attention to detail across all financial activities. Support automated processes and technology driven improvements that increase efficiency. Bring experience within manufacturing construction or related operational environments considered beneficial.
