Accounts Payable Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $90,000 to $105,000 per year. Job Responsibilities Oversee the full accounts payable cycle including invoice review approvals payment processing and account maintenance. Manage vendor relationships by serving as the primary contact for payment inquiries account issues and documentation requests. Support month end and year end activities through reconciliations accruals and financial reporting tasks. Lead accounts payable operations by monitoring workloads reviewing transactions and ensuring timely completion of deliverables. Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency strengthen controls and support operational excellence. Requirements A Bachelor degree in accounting finance business administration or a related field preferred. 5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience including leadership responsibilities. Demonstrate experience managing high volume transaction processing within a structured accounting environment. Possess strong knowledge of accounting principles accounts payable practices and financial controls. Use Excel and enterprise accounting systems effectively to support reporting analysis and daily operations. Qualifications Build strong professional relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders through excellent communication and service. Resolve discrepancies and payment issues through effective problem solving and sound judgment. Maintain strong organizational skills and attention to detail while managing competing priorities. Analyze financial information and recommend improvements to workflows policies and procedures.
