Job Description Job Description Senior Tax Accountant Brescia McCluskey, LLC — Palm Beach Gardens, FL | Full-time, In-Office Brescia McCluskey, LLC is hiring a Senior Tax Accountant to prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns for our clients. You'll handle tax research, client communication, bookkeeping and payroll tax support, and financial statement prep — with real client exposure from day one. What You'll Do - Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary (trust) tax returns - Prepare and file federal and state tax returns accurately and timely - Review client tax documents and supporting records for completeness and accuracy - Perform tax research and apply findings to client situations - Communicate with clients regarding tax matters and information requests - Assist with tax planning and compliance projects - Prepare payroll tax returns and related filings - Perform bookkeeping and accounting functions as needed - Prepare financial statements and supporting workpapers - Maintain organized client files and engagement documentation - Assist partners and managers with special tax and accounting projects What We're Looking For - 1+ years of public accounting or tax preparation experience preferred - Experience preparing individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns - Experience with bookkeeping, payroll tax filings, and financial statement preparation - Experience with UltraTax CS, Workpapers CS, and QuickBooks preferred - Strong tax research and analytical skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications, with the following benefits: - Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays - Employer-sponsored health insurance - 401(k) retirement plan with employer contribution/match - CPA licensing fees and continuing professional education (CPE) reimbursement Company Description Brescia McCluskey, LLC is an independent Certified Public Accounting Firm with a heritage of experience providing disciplined tax preparation, tax planning, investment management, and estate solutions for multi-generational clients.
