Quality Manager

Quality Manager $120000 - $140000 per year | CRYSTAL CITY, CA | On-Site | Permanent Job Details We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and oversee quality assurance, quality control, and continuous improvement initiatives within a precision machining and metal fabrication environment serving the aerospace, industrial, and defense industries. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain compliant AS9100 Quality Management System. Lead quality assurance and inspection across shop operations. Oversee first article, in-process, and final inspections. Manage internal audits and ensure timely completion. Conduct management reviews on quality performance metrics. Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions implementation. Collaborate with engineering, machining, and operations teams. Qualifications Minimum 5 years machining or fabrication experience required. Two years leadership in quality or manufacturing preferred. Strong aerospace machined component experience highly preferred. Working knowledge of AS9100 quality standards required. Expertise interpreting GD&T per ANSI Y14.5 standards. Hands on familiarity with CNC mills and lathes. Experience with fabrication processes including welding. Knowledge of plating, coating, heat treating, NDT.
