Description What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and sophisticated clinical laboratory tests, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, following established procedures.
• Evaluate test results for their accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure proper maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all lab procedures, provide training for new staff and interns, and contribute to maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment, adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Commitment to maintaining your certification throughout your tenure.
