Woodbury Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing to join our leadership team. In this role, you will assist the Director of Nursing and be an integral part of the clinical team. We’re looking for a compassionate, energetic person with a strong knowledge of New York State Department of Health regulations to help lead our long-term care and rehabilitation community with heart, integrity, and clinical excellence.

In This Role, You Will

·         Partner with the DON to guide clinical operations and support a positive care environment

·         Oversee clinical operations alongside the DNS and NSG leadership team

·         Train, mentor, and support the Nursing staff

·         Empower nurses and CNAs through coaching, education, and hands-on leadership

·         Ensure residents receive safe, dignified, person-centered care

·         Maintain compliance with NYSDOH standards , survey expectations, and documentation requirements

·         Strengthen communication across teams and support continuous quality improvement

You’re a Great Fit If You

·         Are an NYS licensed RN with LTC leadership experience

·         Understand NYSDOH regulations and can confidently support survey readiness

·         Lead with empathy, accountability, and professionalism

·         Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

·         Must be computer literate, with excellent working knowledge of all pertinent software.

·         Bachelor’s degree preferred
