This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Rotating shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) & Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30). Shifts may be variable to meet the operational needs of the hospital.

Job Description

The Med/Surg Tele RN will provide care for patients in a fast-paced environment. The role includes the potential to float to units J1-2, J33, and ED to care for the same patient population.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
• Monitor patient vitals and administer medications as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and utilize safeMedicate during patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 18 months of combined permanent nursing experience in Med/Surg Tele.
• 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience, including travel experience.
• Must have an active permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Must work at least every other holiday.
• Two professional references from past supervisors in the specialty required.
