Job Opportunity – Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Urgent Care – Virginia

Start Date: As soon as credentialing is complete

Location: Richmond, Virginia (multiple locations throughout the metro area)

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12+ hour shifts (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM or longer depending on patient flow), 7 days per week availability including weekends. Expected to see all patients who arrive during scheduled hours.

• High patient volume ranging from 25 to 50 patients per day depending on location and season

• No call coverage required – clinic-based hours only

Requirements:

• Active Virginia state license (required)
• Board Certification (required)
• Active DEA and BLS certification (required)
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Emergency Department, Primary Care, or Urgent Care setting (required)
• Proficiency in urgent care procedures including suturing (simple to complex), splinting/casting, I&D, foreign body removal, EKG interpretation, X-ray interpretation, and point-of-care testing
• Clean background with no malpractice or licensure issues
• Local candidates or those willing to cover own travel expenses preferred
• Credentialing timeframe: 60 to 90 days
