Patent Litigation & Intellectual Property Associate - 1791613

Overview Dallas office of a national law firm seeking lateral attorney candidates with three to six years of patent litigation experience (classes of 2017-2020) to join its Intellectual Property group. Candidates should have strong legal and academic backgrounds. USPTO admission and an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering (or substantial experience litigating matters in similar disciplines) is strongly preferred. Compensation range is $240,000-$275,000 (plus generous performance bonuses), depending on experience. Responsibilities Draft pleadings, motions and other legal documents Draft and respond to discovery requests Argue motions Communicate and negotiate with opposing counsel Take and defend depositions Prepare for and appear at trial Prepare infringement and invalidity claim charts Qualifications Three to six years of patent litigation experience (classes of 2017-2020) USPTO admission (preferred) Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or substantial experience litigating matters in similar disciplines (preferred) Admitted to practice in Texas #J-18808-Ljbffr RightWorks
