Technical Onboarding Manager

About the CS team: Temelio’s Customer Success Team supports our customers with a best-in-class onboarding experience to the Temelio platform including, but not limited to, end-to-end project management & training on platform usage. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Onboarding Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in our continued success. As a Customer Onboarding Manager, you will partner directly with customers to successfully onboard them to the Temelio platform. You will own the end-to-end onboarding experience, managing project deliverables such as workflow configuration, data migration, and system setup to ensure a smooth and timely launch. In this role, you serve as the customer’s trusted Temelio advisor—guiding best practices, providing strategic recommendations, and ensuring the platform is configured to meet their unique grantmaking needs. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, and Product teams, acting as the liaison between internal stakeholders and client teams throughout the onboarding journey.To thrive in this role, you are highly organized, proactive, and experienced in technical client management, SaaS onboarding, or implementation. You bring strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Who you are: 3-4 years working at a SaaS-based technology company in account management, customer success or project management working on technical onboarding projects Experience managing customer expectations, timelines, and communications including conducting meetings & presentations Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks Advanced in building and improving internal and client related technical process such as streamlined workstreams, documents and resources Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communications skills specifically in technical scenarios Comfortable managing technical workstreams and data related deliverables such as data mapping and migration initiatives What you'll do Own the onboarding journey from project kickoff through go-live, planning, scheduling, and managing timelines and technical deliverables to ensure successful outcomes for every customer. Lead technical implementation , including workflow configuration, system setup, and tailored data collection and migration (leveraging automation wherever possible). Act as a strategic advisor by identifying opportunities for customers to adopt additional features that enhance their experience and maximize value from Temelio. Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, and Product to deliver a seamless client experience from pre-sale through onboarding and ongoing support. Build and refine scalable onboarding processes , contributing to documentation, playbooks, and continuous improvements as we grow. The expected annual base salary for this role is $85k-105k as well as health, vision, dental, and retirement benefits. Base salary is only part of your total compensation. In addition to base salary, you will receive 3% of all customer ARR that you are responsible for and 20% of all upsell opportunities you own, as well as an equity in the company.
