Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in providing care for patients during the labor and delivery process, particularly those with high-risk pregnancies.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients and their newborns.
Monitor and assess maternal and fetal conditions throughout the labor process.
Administer medications and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients and families on labor and delivery processes, as well as postpartum care.
Perform advanced neonatal resuscitation techniques when necessary.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and outcomes.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1-year recent full-time equivalent experience in a nursing role.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Current Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided.
Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Certification in Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (ANRP).

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.
Five (5) or more years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery, with emphasis on high-risk cases within the last two (2) years.
Experience in high-risk obstetrics preferred.
