Cost Control Specialist (Globall Manufacturing Client) Location: San Jose, CA Employment Type: Direct Hire Salary Range: $83,000 - $93,000 annually Experience Level: Early Career (2-3 Years Experience Required) About the Opportunity Our client, a global leader in advanced manufacturing and technology solutions, is seeking a Cost Control Specialist to join their team in San Jose, CA. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a finance-focused professional to support manufacturing operations through cost analysis, financial reporting, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have experience in cost control, operational finance, supply chain, or accounting functions and thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Monitor operational costs and support monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) analysis. Conduct cost tracking and variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities. Coordinate Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities and support procurement processes. Partner with operations and manufacturing teams to improve financial performance and operational efficiency. Assist with billing activities, inventory monitoring, and expense tracking. Prepare financial reports and analyze data using SAP, Excel, and other reporting tools. Support management with financial insights, reporting, and ad hoc analysis. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in cost analysis, finance, supply chain, operations support, or a related discipline. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or production environments. Knowledge of P&L reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Experience with SAP ERP systems. Exposure to data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI, SQL, or Python.
