Phlebotomist I - 1st ShiftPride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist I - 1st Shift to support our client's healthcare facility in Wethersfield, CT. This is a 6 months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.Schedule: Monday–Friday: Within the hours of 6:00 AM–5:00 PM. Alternating Saturdays: 7:00 AM–12:00 PM.Location: Wethersfield, CT 06109. Job Type: Local contract. Contract Length: 6+ months. Pay Range: $17 to $21/hour* *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.Duties:Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens safely and accurately.Draw blood from patients, including pediatric and geriatric populations.Explain collection procedures to patients and help them feel comfortable.Prepare and process clinical and forensic specimens according to established procedures.Maintain accurate patient records and specimen documentation.Protect patient confidentiality and ensure the accuracy of patient information.Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.Requirements:Education: High School Diploma or GED required.Years of experience: Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience – REQUIREDSkills/Specialties/Technology: Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.Equal Employment OpportunityPrideGlobal and its affiliates are an equal opportunity employer.
