Position: Head of Marketing
Company Stage: Early-stage CPG Brand (backed by experienced founders)
The Opportunity
Can a single food item help solve America's health crisis? We think so-and we're building a category-defining packaged food brand around it. We produce organic, single-serve, ready-to-eat packaged legumes crafted with simple ingredients and bold, modern flavor profiles. We take our food seriously, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. We are seeking an entrepreneurial Head of Marketing to lead our commercial launch, own our retail go-to-market strategy, and drive early category growth. Joining as our first sales and marketing hire, you will help take the brand from pilot stage to a nationwide footprint.

Key Responsibilities

• Brand & Community Strategy: Own the end-to-end brand narrative across retail activations, social channels, and experiential marketing.
• Creator & Partner Marketing: Build and manage digital and offline influencer programs, ranging from micro-creators to high-profile partnerships.
• Trade Marketing & Promotions: Oversee the trade marketing calendar, promotional spending (TPRs, displays, demos), and velocity optimization while protecting gross margin.
• Retail & Broker Execution: Architect the retail go-to-market plan, lead broker networks, and present directly to regional and national grocery buyers.

Qualifications

• 6-12+ years of CPG experience, specifically scaling emerging food & beverage brands.
• Proven experience executing both omnichannel social campaigns and traditional retail distribution.
• Fluency in trade math, promotional strategies, and broker network management.
• High comfort with ambiguity and a track record of building marketing operations from scratch.
