Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while working in a brand-new inpatient rehabilitation unit in Atlantis, FL.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Active Florida Occupational Therapy license required prior to start.
Minimum 6 months of experience in acute care, skilled nursing facility (SNF), or inpatient rehabilitation unit required.
Familiarity with Meditech documentation system preferred.
Ability to perform 1:1 therapy and use common therapy equipment in an inpatient rehab setting.
Good critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills. Ability to incorporate weekends into a 5-day workweek is a plus.
Grey scrubs required as dress code.
BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.

Assignment Details

Facility type: Hospital — Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit.
Shift name: Days.
Shift hours: 08:30–17:00.
Scheduling: 5 days per week, 8-hour shift expectation.
Floating: Primary float within the IP Rehab unit.
Unit size: 42-bed inpatient rehab unit with new equipment.
