This is a Saturday & Sunday , 1099 job that has t shifts : One shift starts on Saturday morning from 9 am to 1 pm and Sunday morning form 9 am to 1 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm

Duties

• Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using tools like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature to track health status accurately
• Administer medications and perform catheter care following medical instructions and HIPAA privacy standards
• Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or other memory impairments, including memory care techniques and behavioral management
• Support patients during hospice or end-of-life care with compassion and sensitivity while maintaining medical documentation and electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems)
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with cooking, cleaning, laundry, and household chores to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
• Document medical records accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations

Skills

• Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in health status or behavior promptly
• Reliability. (Must be on time)
• Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments with long-term care experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to caregiving tasks and patient care procedures
• Ability to work with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges effectively and compassionately
• Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and hospice or dementia-specific training preferred
