CNC Machinist – 1st Shift | $28–$32+/hr | 4-Day Workweek | Wallingford, CT

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines to produce precision components. This is a great opportunity for a machinist who enjoys working with advanced equipment, solving machining challenges, and producing quality parts in a precision manufacturing environment.

Candidates with 2–5 years of CNC setup and operation experience are preferred

Location: Wallingford, CT
Schedule: Monday-Thursday | 4x10-hour shifts
Overtime: Available on Fridays as needed
Pay: $28.00-$32.00+/hour DOE

What You'll Do:

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or milling machines
• Produce precision components while maintaining tight tolerances
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Use GD&T principles to ensure part accuracy
• Inspect finished parts to meet quality requirements
• Support a safe and efficient manufacturing environment

What We're Looking For:

• 2–5 years of CNC lathe and/or milling machine setup and operation experience preferred
• Experience working with close tolerances (±.0005")
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience in an ISO 9001 or AS9100 manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
