Key Responsibilities of the Anesthesia Tech

• Assist in patient care involving anesthesia, including equipment preparation and medication setup.
• Operate and maintain anesthesia equipment and participate in advanced surgical cases.
• Provide primary support and ensure proper functioning and preventive maintenance of anesthesia equipment.
• Assist in training programs and staff development for anesthesia technologists.
• Set up and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment such as infusion pumps and defibrillators.
• Perform room setups and support ectopic procedures ensuring proper equipment availability.
• Provide backup support to the shift supervisor as needed.

Requirements of the Anesthesia Tech

• BLS certification
• Two years of experience as an Anesthesia Tech
