This Jobot Job is hosted by Ryan Anderson Salary $30 - $40 per hour Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Permanent Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of our manufacturing processes. You will be tasked with the maintenance and repair of industrial machinery and equipment, with a focus on minimizing downtime and enhancing productivity. Execute preventive maintenance tasks to minimize equipment failure and downtime. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and breakdowns, and perform necessary repairs swiftly and efficiently. Work closely with the manufacturing team to understand their equipment needs and ensure optimal performance. Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, and maintain a clean and safe working environment. Collaborate with other departments and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Provide technical guidance and training to less experienced staff. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, techniques, and technologies. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance role in a manufacturing setting. Proven expertise with metals, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. Solid technical understanding of manufacturing machinery and systems. Excellent mechanical skills, with the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment. Experience with preventive maintenance programs and procedures. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently. Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Must be able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively. Must be able to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding conditions. Willingness to work in shifts and be on call for emergencies.
