Mechanical Test Engineer

Mechanical Test Engineer Job Description This Mechanical Engineer role supports the testing and validation of electric motors in a highly regulated environment. The position is focused on motor testing, fixture and test stand design. Responsibilities Responsibilities include designing and building test equipment, conducting hands-on testing, analyzing results, troubleshooting issues, creating 2D manufacturing drawings from 3D CAD models, and applying GD&T principles. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams while documenting test procedures, results, and findings. Key Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering + 3-5+ years of mechanical or test engineering experience + Experience with motor testing, fixture design, and dynamometer testing + Strong GD&T knowledge and CAD experience + Hands-on experience with mechanical assemblies, testing, and troubleshooting Work Environment 100% onsite in a hands-on engineering and test environment Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Morton Grove, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
