Service Manager - Industrial HVAC Systems

Location: Skokie, IL
Full-Time | Hybrid Office/Field
Compensation: $90,000-$120,000 DOE

Take the Lead on Complex HVAC Systems

We’re looking for an experienced Industrial HVAC Service Manager who knows what to do when the tough calls come in. This is a hands-on leadership position for a seasoned HVAC professional who can troubleshoot complex systems, support technicians in the field, and keep service operations running smoothly.

This is not a desk-only management role. You’ll be the technical resource your team can count on when they need answers.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support HVAC technicians in the field
• Troubleshoot complex chillers, boilers, RTUs, hydronic systems, pumps, and mechanical equipment
• Visit job sites and assist with difficult service and installation issues
• Coordinate technician schedules, priorities, and daily service operations
• Mentor technicians and help strengthen the service team
• Maintain strong relationships with commercial and industrial customers
• Ensure safety, quality, documentation, and job performance standards are met

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of industrial, mechanical, or large-scale commercial HVAC experience
• Strong chiller, boiler, RTU, hydronic, and mechanical systems experience
• Previous Lead Technician, Field Supervisor, Service Supervisor, or Service Manager experience
• Advanced mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and controls troubleshooting skills
• Strong leadership and customer communication skills
• Healthcare, industrial, institutional, or mission-critical facility experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
